Volunteer Opportunites

Are you interested in volunteering your time and talents to help A Rocha steward God's Earth? A Rocha’s vision of facilitating a nationwide network of community-based conservation efforts is becoming a reality. To help our small staff sustain and expand the network, we seek the following qualified volunteers:

Attorney to help review and design organizational structures and contracts and assess and address potential liabilities.

Graphic designers for a range of projects—brochures, books and training materials.

Research assistants to help produce articles, books, training resources and more.

Editors to help produce articles, books, training resources and more.

Videographers to script, shoot and edit videos showcasing the work of A Rocha around the country.

Project organizers to start creation care efforts in their own communities.

Internships with A Rocha USA

A Rocha USA has a small number of unpaid internships throughout the year working in sustainable agriculture, conservation and education at two locations: Lynden, WA and the Texas Hill Country. Opportunities are also available with our US office. Room and board is the responsibility of the intern, though limited on-site lodging is available at the Texas project. Internships with A Rocha International

- Social Media intern 

A Rocha International is looking for a graduate intern who has an understanding of how websites and social media platforms can be utilized to maximize their communication and fundraising potential. We are looking for someone who can communicate information and ideas clearly, particularly in written form. Ideally, this person will be based in the UK, but applications from elsewhere will be considered. 

The internship will be on an expenses only basis and the time commitment will be dependent upon your availability. During your internship you will gain experience and develop your skills in the following areas:

  • Social Media and web sites
  • Communication
  • Project management
  • Fundraising
  • Design
  • Team working

Your role will be supervised by the Communications Manager and you will be able to draw on the skills of the Communications team and the 19 A Rocha National Organizations. To apply please visit the ARI opportunities page.
